ABOUT
Exploiting Protein complexes that Induce Cell death (EPIC) is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation action bringing together researchers in the fields of cell death, pharmacology, screening, structural biology and natural product chemistry in a network that will exchange reagents, technologies and knowledge.
This cross-sectoral network will form a synergistic environment that to produce new ways of investigating cell-death processes involved in human disease. The generation of innovative assays will enable the identification of new classes of therapeutics through international, cross-sectoral and multidisciplinary research led training.
THE KEY AIMS OF EPIC
- Identifying new ways of investigating cell-death processes involved in human disease.
- Identifying new small molecules that affect cell death complexes.
- Researcher mobility to enhance career development through cross-sectoral and multidisciplinary training in drug-development skills.
